Major: Biology
I’m a biology student at Hunter College with the goal of becoming a physician assistant, driven by a strong passion for neuroscience and women’s health. Currently, I work as both a receptionist and medical assistant at an OB-GYN clinic, where I gain valuable hands-on experience and insight into patient care. In addition, I volunteer at a hospital every Sunday, deepening my understanding of the healthcare environment and reinforcing my commitment to serving others. These experiences have not only strengthened my clinical skills but also fueled my dedication to supporting patients with empathy, knowledge, and respect. I’m excited to continue building a career that blends science, compassion, and advocacy.

As a student advisor, I assist second-degree undergraduate students in selecting appropriate courses that fulfill medical school prerequisites and align with their academic backgrounds. I provide tailored guidance on enhancing their medical school applications, including advice on gaining relevant clinical experience, preparing for the MCAT, and engaging in extracurricular activities that demonstrate commitment to the medical field. Additionally, I help them navigate the unique challenges they may face as non-traditional applicants, ensuring they are well-prepared for the competitive medical school admissions process.
