Ph.D. Candidate in Modern French History

My dissertation, “A Eurafrican Future: France, Algeria, and the Treaty of Rome (1951-1975),” interrogates how and why French officials convinced their European partners that Algeria was an integral part of France, and by extension, Europe, during the foundational negotiations of the postwar European project.
