I am the new Director of Assessment at Hunter

My philosophy of educational assessment is based upon improvement for delivering the highest quality education to our learners and providing an excellent environment for those working in education. Assessment allows for clarity and effectiveness when tying budget to service. I am a collaborator and take my work seriously to support and assist with the entire spectrum from producing student learning outcomes assessments as well as support any other initiatives for student development, completion and ultimately, success. I believe that creativity used in conjunction with knowledge can be very effective in the realm of student success. I have attended and presented at many conferences and have excellent contacts in the academic field. I am passionate about education in the holistic sense of the meaning and am a firm believer in student centered education. My educational interests are varied and I enjoy working within several arenas.
