James Mahon

Dean of the School of Arts and Humanities at CUNY-Lehman College

James Mahon is the former chair of the Department of Philosophy at CUNY-Lehman College. Previously, he was head of the Department of Philosophy at Washington & Lee University. He has taught at University College Cork, Duke University, and Yale University. His most recent publication is “Why Deception is Worse than Coercion,” (Cultura & Psyché: Journal of Cultural Psychology 5, (2024)).
