Currently, I am serving as the University Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for Academic Programming & Policy at the CUNY Central Office. In this position, I lead the Office of Academic Program Review where our team support various activities across the university. Some of our key services include supporting curricular and academic program actions; establishment, assessment, and certification of Centers & Institutes; various faculty actions; liaise with CUNY administration and regulatory bodies including NYSED.

Additionally, across CUNY, I am on both the doctoral faculty and master’s faculty for various programs at the CUNY Graduate Center. While in my current administrative position I am on leave from my primary faculty position as Professor of Public & Community Health at LaGuardia Community College. Previously, I served as Program Director of the Public & Community Health Program and Co-Director of the Liberal Arts: Health Humanities Program. My administrative experience within CUNY extends to centers & institutes where I previously served as the Executive Director of the Center for LGBTQ Studies (CLAGS) as well as Deputy Director of the CUNY Institute for Health Equity (CIHE). My educational training includes being an alumnus of both the Critical Social-Personality doctoral program at the CUNY Graduate Center and the Master of Public Health program in Health Policy & Management at the CUNY School of Public Health & Health Policy.
