TSC: Mentoring Students of Color 8 years, 3 months ago Hi everyone, this essay is a bit more scholarly and field-specific than some of the things that we have discussed so far, but I think the pedagogical implications are broad. I look forward to discussing it with you and hearing from you if/how you see the premises discussed here by Barrett relate to your fields of study. Also, another things I thought we could discuss is the how the ways we organize institutional knowledge and discplinarity can either reify or trouble racial assumptions or stereotypes, a discussion we started last time! ~Janet
