Frank J. Feeley

Archaeologist interested in the medieval commercial fish trade.

I’m a zooarchaeologist who has been studying the medieval producers of dried cod fish. This dried fish product was an important commodity that traveled over great distances. My most recent work centers on a large fishing station in the west of Iceland called Gufuskalar.
