Here is a photo from the Children’s Aid Eighth Annual “Keeping The Promise Benefit” to celebrate the organization extensive history of service to new York city communities. A sum of 2million dollar was raise to benefit the organization.

During my research i had the pleasure of interviewing one of Children’s Aid phenomenal Staff. They informed of the growth of the organization during their extensive career. Here at the infamous Dunlevy Milbank center one of Children’s Aid many infamous sites that provides a multitude of services. In the the Photo the late Laker legend Kobe Bryant is seen running his MAMBA League youth clinic . The photo was taken in March 2019 in Harlem .

A picture is worth a thousands word and this particular photograph tell the story of the Orphan train movement, an American welfare program created to support and help impoverished children find homes. The Children Aid Society was one of the organization assisting with the relocation of the children.
