Emily S. Channell-Justice

new anthropologies of Europe, postsocialism, and youth

I have been doing research in Ukraine since 2012, when I began working with young leftist and student activists around the country. My dissertation considers the intersection of Europeanization and decommunization in the EU’s peripheries and the role of new forms of political activism in reshaping the state.
