Davide G. Colasanto
History PhD student with a specialization in Modern European History. I study the relationships between the Allied army and Italian civilians during the Allied occupation of Italy in World War 2 and its immediate aftermath (1943 – 1950). The main focus of my research is the notion of masculinity and its relations to war and violence.
