My dissertation, entitled Engendering Islands, analyzes representations of difference in the seventeenth-century French Caribbean. I am currently a fellow at the Institute for Research on the African Diaspora in the Americas and the Caribbean and an Instructional Technology Fellow at Macaulay Honors College at Queens College.
