Is a 1st gen college graduate and CUNY alumni, earning a PhD in Social Psychology from the CUNY Graduate Center. My research investigates the lived experience of ideological dissonance and affective dilemmas of first-gen college graduates & their families. Currently researching cross-attainment or credential-discordant sibling relationships.

Academic Interests

Social Psychology of class mobility, specifically via higher education; relational experiences of sibling relationships across educational attainment level and degree status, as well as cross-degree or credential-discordant relationships in general; attribution theory in the context of close relationships; Qualitative and MMR methodologies.
