The PublicsLab at the Graduate Center

The PublicsLab seeks to transform doctoral education in the humanities for the public good. It cosponsors and organizes events focused on public scholarship at the Graduate Center, supports faculty and graduate students who do public work, and brings in practitioners from the broader community to share their methods and work.     If you haven’t checked out our list of spring 2019 events on our website, please do so! We have hip-hop pedagogy with the Futures Initiative, a panel on nonprofit fundraising with career services, and a book launch and a panel on applied research positions with the Public Science Project.
