Teaching on Systemic Racism and Anti-Racism

Discuss as a full faculty the anti-racist teaching goals we came to in our first meeting, the grid on how we’re addressing systemic racism in courses, and next steps re: how to better meet our goals through these courses.
Familiarize ourselves with the Social Justice Syllabus Design Tool (Taylor et al., 2019) and discuss how we can better incorporate some of their suggestions into our syllabi and teaching.
Brainstorm student competencies related to systemic racism (i.e., what we want our students to be able to do as a result of our courses).
