Sociology M.S. in Applied Social Research

This is the group is for Hunter College’s M.S. program in Applied Digital Sociology. This is a place for current students to receive important updates about news and events within the program and the sociology department, to learn about new opportunities for internships, jobs and learn about exciting job opportunities.

Registration: Important Updates

A couple of quick updates about registration:
- EVERYONE, please go ahead and register for your classes (administrators are canceling classes that don’t have hefty enrollments);
- NEW, INCOMING students should register for: Stats I (GSR 708), and Methods (GSR 710) and “Thinking Critically in a Digital Society” (GSR 79006-01) – which replaces the Theory (GSR 701) requirement;
- If you find yourself blocked from registering for any courses, please email me (jdaniels@hunter.cuny.edu) with your EMPLID # and I will add the permission.
- I’ve just added a bunch of permissions today, but if I somehow missed a request, please email me again.
And, just an FYI, I’m finishing a book that’s due soon and so email replies are slow right now. Once this manuscript if off to the publisher, I will be quicker to respond. 🙂
