Sociology M.S. in Applied Social Research

This is the group is for Hunter College’s M.S. program in Applied Digital Sociology. This is a place for current students to receive important updates about news and events within the program and the sociology department, to learn about new opportunities for internships, jobs and learn about exciting job opportunities.

New Course replaces Contemporary Sociological Theory (GSR 702)

    Students in the program are required to take “Contemporary Sociological Theory” (GSR 702). For the foreseeable future, this course is being replaced by, “Thinking Critically in a Digital Society,” (GSR 79006).

    The pre-req for the course is that you be in good-standing (not academic probation) in the program and it requires permission of the instructor (Daniels).
