Hunter College Food Pantry Manager, Part-Time Job:

The pantry staff assistant will be charged with addressing day to day operations of our Purple Apron Pantry.  The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: distribution of food items to students, keeping log of students served, monitoring food inventory and alerting supervisors when additional food orders need to be made, managing food deliveries, stocking food items on shelves or in prepackaged pantry bags, addressing any correspondences to the panty about general concerns or operational hours, keeping signage and other informational resources at the pantry site accurate and up to date, assist in gathering and promoting other resources or tool kits for healthy eating habits, coordinating and receiving fresh food deliveries weekly and other duties as assigned.

 

Pay Rate: $15.00

Hours of Operations: 20 hours weekly.
