    Every year Yankee Stadium celebrates the achievements of students aided by The Silver Shieldd Foundation who are the children of New York CIty firefighters and police officers who were killed in the line of duty. While this experience will never bring back their loved one(s), it shows them the immense support and gratitude that the Yankees and New York City as a whole feels for the supreme sacrifice that their families have made to ensure the protection of all the citizens in the greater NYC area. Wishing them all the best in their future endeavors!!
