PUG – Python User’s Group

Python User’ Group (or PUG for short) is an open and informal collaborative space for experimentation and exploration with the Python programming language. It is an opportunity for those interested in Python to work together virtually and find support. Whether you are looking for advice or assistance with new or current projects, looking to discuss and learn new skills using Python tools, or to join us to play around with our collection of sample datasets, PUG is your place!

PUG is open to people of all skill levels, disciplines, and backgrounds. Complete beginners to Python will find a place here. Come, and let’s learn together.

Come Join Us! Data Vis End of Semester Showcase

  • Hi All,

Please find an invitation below to the Advanced Interactive Data Visualization Studio student showcase, happening tonight.

    Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I\’m writing to invite you to the End of Semester Data Visualization Showcase for students in the M.S. Program in Data Analysis and Visualization at the CUNY Graduate Center.

Throughout this semester, students in the \’Advanced Interactive Data Visualization Studio\’ course have worked incredibly hard choosing their own project topics and developing them into impressive interactive data visualizations.

The event, taking place Tuesday Dec. 15th at 7:00pm, will consist of a series of lightning talks as students demo their final projects on a range of topics from firework complaints to voter turnout, political donations to financial literacy, immigration to the relationship between the US military and Hollywood, and many more!

Come join us to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments! Sign up for the online webinar here on eventbrite.

    Prof. Aucher Serr
