The group is designed to allow practicing poets and teachers of creative writing to share ideas, information, and work as well as pose questions regarding the practice and teaching of poetry and the world of poetry in NYC and on-line.

    I'd like to thank all those who helped make the first annual CUP awards such a success. We are working already on trying to continue the awards next year in the face of looming budget cuts. Anyone with funding ideas or who think that we ought to include categories for grad students, please let me know.
