    Members of this group may be interested in METRO’s new Data Lifecycle Special Interest Group (a reinvention of the former Digital Preservation SIG):

    Announcement: The Data Lifecycle SIG’s first meeting!
    When: May 5, 2021 11:00 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada)

    In the first event of the Data Lifecycle Interest Group, previously the Digital Preservation SIG/Meetup, we will share with the community our group’s updated mission, introduce you to our two new organizers, and share our collective and developing vision for future programming.

    The Data Lifecycle Interest Group will broadly touch upon all aspects of data. Join this group for presentations and discussions on data extraction, massaging & normalization, exports, archiving, preservation, sustainability and reproducibility.

    This group is organized by Stephen Klein (CUNY Graduate Center), Vicky Rampin (NYU), and Jessica Wagner Webster (Baruch-CUNY).
