Those of you who attended the wonderful Global Open Access webinar (and those who didn’t!) may be interested in attending a light lunch & conversation with Gwenda Thomas, Executive Director of Library Services at the University of Cape Town, South Africa on Thursday, July 13. The event will be at 12:30 at the Graduate Center (room TBD). To facilitate conversation, Gwenda will be giving a 20-minute presentation about UCT libraries and academic librarianship in Africa. Her areas of interest include scholarly communication, library publishing services, digital humanities, and more.
