The next meeting of the LACUNY Scholarly Communications Roundtable will be Tuesday, December 19 at 3-4pm, on Zoom:

At this meeting, we’ll discuss two chapters from the recently published book Scholarly Communication Librarianship and Open Knowledge (edited by Maria Bonn, Josh Bolick, and Will Cross), which is available here as an open access PDF.

• Basics and Definitions: ScholComm Is… (pp. 3-10)
• The Social Context: ScholComm Is People (pp. 41-58)

We’ll also start to identify additional chapters we can discuss in the new year.

As always, no scholarly communication expertise is needed to attend. Anyone who’s interested is welcome!
