Hi Everyone,

Next Thursday, June 18, is our meeting to wrap up the year and plan for the coming one. As part of this, we’ll need to hold elections for co-chair/chair.

As most of you know, Karen Okamoto, who is on maternity leave at the moment and will be on sabbatical this fall, has stepped down as co-chair. A very heartfelt shout out and thank you to Karen for her smooth co-chairing and master organizing of meetings and events this year!

Madeline Cohen and I are throwing our hats in the ring for 2015-16 co-chairs. We welcome others who are interested to also run. Feel free to self-nominate or nominate others. A reminder, chairs need to be members of LACUNY.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch with questions and/or suggestions. Will send out the location of next week’s meeting shortly.
