LACUNY Emerging Technologies Committee

The LACUNY Emerging Technologies Committee is dedicated to collaborative exploration of technologies that further the CUNY libraries’ missions. Through workshops, hack days, demoes, and other meetings, CUNY librarians learn new skills from each other and cultivate a community of openness, sharing, and encouragement.

    Hello!

    The LACUNY Emerging Technologies Committee is happy to announce its upcoming event: Demo Day! Demo Day is an occasional event that celebrates interesting technology projects made by CUNY Librarians. You’re invited to show off your latest tech project. Tiny or large, finished or in progress, we want to see what you’re up to! Presentations will be 10-15 mins each. Come show off your stuff or just sit back to enjoy seeing your colleagues’ work.

    If you’re coming to Demo Day tomorrow, and are hesitating about presenting one of your projects, please go for it! Presenting is very low key, informal and zero stress. We’d love to hear about your work!
