Dog Day Care Center

This is the group site for the ENGL 21007 team that is developing a dog day care center on campus so that students, faculty and staff can bring their dogs to school. The center would be in the basement and on part of the lawn of Shepard Hall. The center would be run by one or two staff members and lots of students, who would benefit from the good vibes of the happy dogs.

Team members are:
Gulliver Jones – team leader, environmental scan of university dog day care centers, prototype
Somebody – project manager, institutional research, outreach, prototype
Somebody – chief writing editor, research into human health benefits from caring for dogs, prototype
Somebody – in charge of data visualization, website design, prototype, in charge of prototype design
Somebody – budget, research into health and safety, prototype

Ready to gain momentum this semester!

  • Hello working group! I was thrilled to see that there was a new member here, but now I see that they left, maybe because there was not much happening. Well, we’re back now, and ready to make this dream a reality. 🙂

Please reach out if you are interested in talking about creating a dog day care center on the lawn and in the basement of Shepard Hall!
