Digital Humanities Initiative

The CUNY Digital Humanities Initiative (CUNY DHI), launched in Fall 2010, aims to build connections and community among those at CUNY who are applying digital technologies to scholarship and pedagogy in the humanities. All are welcome: faculty, students, and technologists, experienced practitioners and beginning DHers, enthusiasts and skeptics.

We meet regularly on- and offline to explore key topics in the Digital Humanities, and share our work, questions, and concerns. See our blog for more information on upcoming events (it’s also where we present our group’s work to a wider audience). Help edit the CUNY Digital Humanities Resource Guide, our first group project. And, of course, join the conversation on the Forum.

  • Help with Video of CUNY DHI Events

    Hi All,

As you might know, I’ve been filming our CUNY DHI events this semester on flip cams. I have that footage on my computer, but I haven’t had time to put together edited forms of the videos and upload them to Vimeo so that we can then embed them on our blog.

Is there anyone out there with video know-how and some time to help process these videos? All we really need is some very slight editing and a few titles at the beginning and end of the videos.

If you might be able to help with this, please respond here or send an email to me (mattgold at gmail.com)

    Thanks!

    Best,

    Matt
