A collaborative resource started by the LaGuardia Center for Teaching and Learning and the Library. This should work as both a resource guide and copyright workshop planning tool. Our wiki page is here: http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/wiki/index.php/Creative_Commons_Copyright_Resources_WIKI

  • Action Portal for OA Week

From Nick Shockey at <a href="http://www.openaccessweek.org/?xg_source=msg_mes_network&quot; target="_blank">International Open Access Week:</a>

International Open Access Week is quickly approaching on October 24-30! This year’s theme of “Open in Action” is all about taking concrete steps to open up research and scholarship and encouraging others to do the same.

To provide you with ideas for taking action and to measure the community’s collective efforts, we’ve created an action portal where you can indicate which steps you’ll take to support Open Access.

<a href="http://www.action.openaccessweek.org/&quot; target="_blank">Click this link</a> to visit the Action Portal and select which actions you’ll take.

You can also help by spreading the word about the actions you can take to open up your work and to encourage others to do the same. Consider retweeting our message or posting your own message about Open Access Week on social media with the hashtag <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/OAweek?src=hash&quot; target="_blank">#OAWeek. </a>

You can find more background on each of the actions listed on the portal through the <a href="http://www.action.openaccessweek.org/&quot; target="_blank">Open Access Week website here.</a>

Thank you for all of your efforts to support Open Access—during Open Access Week and year round. We look forward to being able to highlight your work and the collective impact of Open Access advocates from across the globe!
