EPortfolio allows students to demonstrate the process of their learning throughout a course or program and makes their own learning more explicit to them and their audience. At the same time, because the portfolio is a web site where they create and organize their best work, it is also a showcase for them to take beyond the classroom. Faculty who use Eportfolio praise this pedagogical approach because it fosters students’ thinking about audience beyond their professor and class peers and for students' ability to see how individual assignments fit together.
