This image reminds me of poor Emily from the short story “A rose for Emily”. She is surrounded by death,but is blind to her own actions and the effect death has had on her. Not only did the death of her father devastate her emotionally, it was a trigger that set of the rest of her actions. She began to live her life very differently, so we thought. However it was just a replication to fix her pain. In the end it only lead to the death of another man.
