What calls Sundiata to action? Was this act impacted by family or history or destiny?

Sundiata I believe is called into action by his Destiny. His fate was premeditated. His mother was nice but ugly and was forced to marry a man so that she can give birth to a warrior like his ancestors did. In addition, his mom has been raising him and teaching him to make sure that he lands in the right path like he is supposed to. You cannot avoid your destiny if you run from it I believe you’ll still end up running in the path that you’re supposed to be in. Also Sundiata goes towards the right path ends up fighting to stay on that path.
