Sociology M.S. in Applied Social Research

This is the group is for Hunter College’s M.S. program in Applied Digital Sociology. This is a place for current students to receive important updates about news and events within the program and the sociology department, to learn about new opportunities for internships, jobs and learn about exciting job opportunities.

    A professor at the CUNY Graduate Center is conducting research on older children’s foster care experience in New York City.  Help is needed gathering literature around certain topics as well as interviewing youth and foster parents.  Interns should possess a heightened awareness of cultural bias and sensitivity, around among other areas, race, gender, and class.  Hours are flexible and interns will be trained to conduct interviews.
