Good afternoon everyone. As you know, you have a group project due on March 4th based on your assigned sections of Sadovnik et al. “History of Education.” (Remember to refer to the class website to confirm which section you should read.) A few people have asked for a class e-mail list so that you can contact the other members of your groups. I have attached a contact list based on the e-mail addresses used on CUNY Commons. If you prefer something other than you CUNY e-mail please let me (and the members of your group) know ASAP.
Instructions for the History presentation can be found on our class website. Remember, this is a collaborative project, so you will need to coordinate with the other members of your group. (You will have a chance to touch base with each other in class on Wednesday, but I recommend that you start thinking about this before then.)
Just a reminder, this Wednesday we will be discussing Capitalism and Schooling, and our facilitators will be Panekqua and Jackie P. (Facilitators, remember to contact me by Tuesday night with information on what you plan to present.) Everyone else is expected to write a 250-word reflection on the article and post it to the website, also by Tuesday night.
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me.
Best,
Francine
