Matt Brim
Associate Professor of Queer Studies, and Director of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program, College of Staten Island, CUNY
Brim’s research focuses on LGBTQ literature and culture and on queer pedagogy. His first book was James Baldwin and the Queer Imagination (2014). His current book project, "Poor Queer Studies," addresses class stratification in higher education by reorienting the field of queer studies toward working-class students, institutions, and pedagogies.
