I am teaching a hybrid course in the fall, and this would be valuable until we meet for our first class. I found it easy to create, and I always let the students know I was once a student like them. I always try to be empathetic with student concerns. I will implement this introductory video on my course site.

My project is an interactive video explaining the patient’s case to them. This shows critical thinking, and most students think being in the clinic with live patients is fun and very useful.

I ask my students to do the same. We are a two-year program, so students become very close throughout the program.

I like to use a blackboard to have students introduce themselves and give us fun facts.

It can build and create more skills to develop their future.

The student’s motivation and engagement start in the classroom, but they need to understand why they need to understand the material. This keeps them involved and wants to learn.
