BA/MA Earth Science Education student at Hunter College

Hello, I am currently pursuing my BA/MA in Adolescent Earth Science Education. As we are confronted with the realities of climate change, I aim to help students develop an appreciation for our planet and its inhabitants. My journey at Hunter College will enable me to reach that goal.

Noyce

Funded by the the National Science Foundation, the Noyce Science Scholars Program provides support for students who are interested in teaching STEM curriculum in grades K-12. Not only does it provide tuition support, but the Noyce program at Hunter College also offers academic advisement, professional development, career counseling, and mentoring for students in their first year of teaching; the wealth of support is immeasuable. I was honored to be selected among a group of Noyce scholars to teach a STEM summer camp at La Sale Academy during the summer of 2020. This experience was very rewarding and allowed me an opportunity to hone my craft.
