Aaron Slodounik

Doctoral Candidate in Art History

I'm writing a dissertation on the late-nineteenth century French painter Paul Gauguin and his literary peers. In order to shed new light on this canonical artist, my research examines texts and objects exchanged as gifts between Gauguin and his literati during the early 1890s.
