    CESSRST Advisors:
Please see below amazing paid REU opportunities through the newly funding AI research https://www.ai2es.org/ and below program at OU/National Weather Center.
Any UG students can apply, so share it widely within your campus, departments, labs. CESSRST UG students must also be encouraged to apply. They do not have NERTO experience, hence paid REUs are great opportunities.

Please be advised that the application deadline is this Monday 2/8, but it can be extended if you let me know if any interested students, I will let them know.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Application for AI2ES internships

    Dear Shakila and Jamese,

Please see our announcement below, thank you! Sorry for the delay getting this to you. I had an all-day meeting on Tuesday.

Please let us know if you have any students who are applying who need longer than Monday night, Feb 8, when the regular application will close. I think we can give a few more days specifically for applications to the AI2ES opportunities.

    Cheers,
    Daphne

    Research +
During the 2020 REU program, we were able to put together virtual tours and seminars that gave us the opportunity to talk to even more people across various organizations! We look forward to continuing this aspect in future programs.
