The Group for Group Admins

A meta-group for all of the Commons’ group admins so that the CUNY Academic Commons team can share information and keep you updated about changes to the site (and especially the Group interface). This group will also provide a way for us to get feedback from you about features you’d like to see added and ways we can improve the Group functionality.

Update: Group Blog Posts

    Hi all,

    I hope the summer is treating all of you well. You may have noticed issues related to group blog posts over the past month or so, specifically group blog posts not appearing on the homepage and multiple emails being sent to group members each time a post is updated. I am happy to report that with the 1.4.31 release, group blog posts will once again appear on the homepage and the bug that was causing multiple notifications to be sent each time a group blog post was updated has been fixed (so if you uncoupled your group blog, please feel free to re-couple). Many thanks to the group admins who reported these issues and for bearing with us while we worked to resolve them. If you noticed an error or come across something strange on the Commons, feel free to report the issue on Redmine or email the community team at commons@gc.cuny.edu.
