Summer Internship at Tiggly
Tiggly is based in New York, pioneering an interactive learning experience that combines the most important aspects of physical play with the depth of content fond in digital learning. With thousands of teachers and students using Tiggly’s Learning Systems every day, we are looking to transform how the world discovers and implements our educational technology. Tiggly is seeking a talented intern who craves learning new skills and isn’t afraid to tackle big projects. As an intern, you will get to work with a variety of our staff to help Tiggly grow.
We are looking for a full time or part time Intern who is passionate about education and wants to get involved as an important part of an exciting entrepreneurial endeavor. We’re a small team so you will immediately play an important role in the development and growth of the company – and get a lot of exposure to the founders.
You will assist Amanda Rosenburg, Tiggly’s Director of Learning, in reaching out to key school management leaders (including superintendents), visiting schools, and preparing reports. Together you can tailor the internship to suit your needs and interests.
We are looking for someone local (in NYC) to work with us at least 2 days per week, starting as soon as possible.
What We Require:
• Background in education (a focus in early education Pre-K through 1st grade is a bonus)
• An understanding of the educational technology landscape
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite Office
• Organized, with an ability to prioritize important assignments
• Creative and Flexible
• Willing to travel
