    The Tools for Clear Speech (TfCS) program provides direct support for the college’s nonnative English speaking students and English Language Learners, empowering participants to succeed academically and in their chosen careers. TfCS is committed to the social, cultural, and financial mobility of a diverse student body, and is proud to help cultivate campus inclusivity, wherein students are active, confident participants in their education.

    Reporting to the TfCS Director, the Program Coordinator helps to facilitate efficient operation of program services and lends administrative support to its Speech Consultants, student participants, and program managers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate TfCS services and Speech Consultants’ schedules
    • Manage online scheduling system (WCONLINE)
    • Manage program email account and correspondence with students, faculty, etc.
    • Maintain and update program website (WordPress platform)
    • Create and maintain spreadsheets; input and analyze data using MS Office and Google Drive (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
    • Create and distribute surveys using Qualtrics; maintain and synthesize survey data for analysis and reporting
    • Create end-of-semester assessment and attendance reports
    • Set up audiovisual equipment; troubleshoot minor issues
    • Record, upload, and organize digital content to online platform

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of relevant administrative experience
    • Exceptional organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
    • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Proficiency with basic computer software and platforms including MS Office, Google Drive, Qualtrics, and WordPress, as well as proficiency with Mac and PC operating systems
    • Ability to create responsive spreadsheets using Excel formulas for data management

    Preference will go to candidates who also have basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.

    Appointments are for 25-35 hours per week, dependent on program budget, candidate availability, and experience. Re-appointments are available based on satisfactory performance and budget availability. Contracted appointments will begin in mid-summer 2017.

    Compensation is commensurate with experience and availability. Competitive and comprehensive health care benefits are available to part time staff after a minimum time of service.
