    [ONLINE EDUCATION] RSVP for Time-Saving Techniques for Course Planning and Preparation Webinar 12-12-2019

    Dear Colleagues,

     

    What are some ways to more effectively plan and prepare a course? What tools and techniques can help ensure a smoother course development process? How can you skillfully manage the extra complexities of designing and implementing a new or revised hybrid or online course? What are the keys to successful maintenance and periodic updates to an existing course?

     

    Whether you teach face-to-face, hybrid, or entirely online, this webinar will demonstrate some practical tools and proven approaches to course planning and preparation that can make the process smoother, easier, and more effective.

     

    Join us on December 12, 2019, 12:00 to 1:00 pm for “Time-Saving Techniques for Course Planning and Preparation” a lunchtime webinar. Our faculty co-host will be Harriet “Niki” Fayne, Professor, Department of Counseling, Leadership, who will share her time-saving techniques and her experience.

    About the webinar series:

    These hour-long webinars are conveniently delivered online each month during the academic year, and are easily accessed from desktop, phone, or tablet. Webinars are facilitated by the department of Online Education staff and each features a presentation by a faculty co-host with expertise on the topic. Attendees have time at the end of each webinar to comment, share their views, and to ask questions of presenters.

     

    Some of the future topics in our series will include webinars on assessment strategies, active learning, instructor presence, and group work.
