> BMCC is seeking a Learning Experience Designer with a solid foundation in WordPress (including a variety of plugins). This person will work with BMCC faculty who are redesigning their courses to include open pedagogy and open educational resources. These courses are hosted on the CUNY Academic Commons or the BMCC Open Lab.

> Applicants should be experienced with learner-centered and learner-driven pedagogy, as well as instructional design principles such as backward design and universal design for learning. The Learning Experience Designer will guide faculty from learning goals and outcomes to defining and creating learning experiences through WordPress course sites and open pedagogy assignments.

> The position runs from date of hire (as soon as possible) through June 30, 2020. CUNY Non-teaching Adjuncts (NTAs) may work 225 hours during each fall and spring semester (approx. 15 hrs/wk), 75 hours in January (approx. 18 hrs/wk), and 175 hours in summer (approx. 15-20 hrs/wk in June).
