* Mentors will design, scope, and support a 15 week research project in collaboration with their mentee, culminating in a public research artifact, poster, or presentation. Projects featuring research relevant to the communities Hostos Community College serves will be prioritized.
* Mentors will participate in a one-day training on January 21, 2025, developed by the Graduate Center’s Teaching and Learning Center, and report bi-weekly to an assigned faculty mentor from Hostos Community College on the status of their projects.
* Both mentors and mentees will keep weekly research journals, to be shared internally with faculty and staff involved with the project. Mentors will also be expected to participate in a program assessment at the end of the Spring semester.Compensation
