This lecture, “Public Interest Technology and Your Internships,” (from Wednesday, 7/13/22) is required for those in the 718/719 course this summer, and will be of interest to all those in the program.

The first part of the lecture is an introduction to the field of public interest technology (PIT), and it is important for people in this program to understand and be aware of because there are grants, internships, jobs and other opportunities opening up in this area. CUNY is part of the PIT-University Network, and has been selected as the host for the 2022 convening of the PIT-UN, which happens this fall and I hope many of you will consider attending.
