The Social Media Reader @ MoMA PS1 this Sunday 2pm

  • Hi All. I wanted to invite you to two upcoming events celebrating the publication of The Social Media Reader which I edited — CC licensed (with a complicated back story on that, actually).

The Social Media Reader, is a collection of essays exploring the rise of a participatory culture that blurs the boundaries between creators and audiences, will be published this month by NYU Press. The book features key essays from the major authors in the field, including Chris Anderson, Yochai Benkler, danah boyd, Henry Jenkins, Lawrence Lessig, Tim O’Reilly, Jay Rosen, Clay Shirky, and Siva Vaidhyanathan.

There will be two launch events in the coming weeks:
