Unfortunately, the Center for Worker Education charges a fee (probably not so surprising) for their space, which in this case would be approximately $300. Many thanks to Jay for tracking down this information.

We’d like to find a free venue, if possible, and it sounded like folks preferred to be in an area which would give options for activities after the event. One possibility is a classroom at BMCC, which we’ll reserve in case the consensus is a go for this. The room seats 38 (with the usual student chair/desks) and allows food.

Any objections to BMCC? Suggestions for other possible/preferred venues?
