Hi Scholarly Communication Roundtablers,
Don’t forget: we’re having our next meeting on Tuesday 1/22 at 3pm. The meeting will take place at the Grad Center, in room C196.05 (concourse level of the library).
We have two main agenda points: 1) sharing of successes, problems, and lessons learned by anyone who coordinated an Open Access Week event or any other OA-related event last semester, and 2) begin planning a spring SCRT event. (Sneak peek: One idea is to host an event about content farms, algorithm-written content, etc., co-sponsored with the Emerging Technologies Committee and maybe others.)
So, if you helped organize an open access event this fall, hope to organize an open access event in the future, are interested in helping with an SCRT spring event, or just like being engaged in conversation about scholarly communications, please come!
