Maura and I mentioned this at today’s Scholarly Communications Roundtable meeting, but we want to make sure everyone hears this info, not just those who could attend:

At the end of the semester, we’ll be holding an election for new roundtable chair/co-chairs. After what will be two years of co-chairing, Maura and I will be ready to pass the torch, so please start thinking about whether you’d like to run (alone or with someone).

After organizing two very well attended events in the fall, we’re in the process of planning two more great events (one on open educational resources and one on the debate surrounding open access and dissertations), so the next chair/co-chairs should inherit a lot of energy and ideas!

No need to commit now — please just start thinking about whether you’d like to run!
