As some of you may recall, the LACUNY Scholarly Communications Roundtable and the OLS Copyright Committee are going to co-host an event focused on works entering the public domain, as well as works that can be made using public domain works, on May 1 at LaGuardia Community College.
With <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>HUGE</span> apologies for spacing out and not sending this announcement/invitation earlier, there is a planning meeting for this event TOMORROW (Wednesday, February 19) at 10am, in Room 8301 at the Graduate Center. Anyone from SCRT who is interested in helping to plan the event is welcome to attend.
Of course, because of the terrible timing of this message, most of you are probably already booked for that time, or immediately before or after. <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>If you can’t attend but would like to call in</span>, please let me know. Additionally, <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>if you can’t attend or call in but would like to help with the planning</span>, please let me know that too.
